It is with heavy hearts that we announce that on the 24th April 2024, Jonny Hamer, the incredibly talented and humble music composer for Sylvia, ended his life. Jonny battled with his mental health for several years, and we are devastated that he felt the world was not a place for him anymore. His work on Sylvia, which he conducted with such grace, patience and raw natural musical talent will live on as long as people continue to watch this film. We are so sad that this short film that already speaks of great loss, now includes the loss of another wonderful human.

Synopsis

​

Our love affair with the automobile means a car can feel like it is part of the family. Sometimes it is much more than that and on one last road trip for one family everything may not be quite what it seems.
