SubMotion have been working on documentaries for well over a decade and have been lucky enough to pick up some great awards and accolades for our work.

From global finance companies such as AIG, to small charities like ihAg, there are human stories in every single business, and there is nothing more powerful than bringing these stories to life through film.

Authentic and honest content is harder and harder to come by, so when audiences do stop scrolling and watch a short 3 minute film, or a 60 second social post that presents a company, charity or brand with sincerity, it cuts through.

As a team, SubMotion have worked in many testing environments, from locations at the top of a mountain, to the streets of Ipswich on a homelessness morning walk checking to make sure everyone survived the night. We work as a dynamic and nimble crew, taking care to respect our surroundings and these we are filming.

For your documentary to tell the story you want and hit those talking points you want to emphasise, we work with you through the pre-production process to go over the right questions to ask, and in the right way. Getting the right responses from people who are often uncomfortable in-front of the camera, and potentially discussing difficult topics, is a real skill, and one we have honed over the many years of documentary filmmaking.
